No travel costs are added, unless the guide needs to travel more than 1 hour each way. Rates are excluding VAT. If you are located outside the Netherlands, no VAT is charged (reverse charge mechanism applies within the EU).

Coach drop-off, parking and lockers

The questions coach operators send us most often. Every point below is the one the municipality or the city tourist board publishes, checked in September 2026. Follow the link for the current detail before you finalise a routing.

Delft

Coach
Set down on the Phoenixstraat by the Sint-Agathaplein, or on the Koepoortplaats. Both are 30 minutes maximum. Coaches then park on the Olof Palmestraat, or free on the Schieweg after 19:00.

Lockers at Delft station, from about €5 for 24 hours. Nothing in the centre.

The Hague

Coach
Reserved coach bays on the Prinsessegracht, the Hofweg and in Scheveningen, with separate long-stay spaces. No fee on the reserved bays. Vehicles over 6 m may only use ordinary streets on weekdays, 07:00 to 18:00.

Lockers at both Den Haag Centraal and Den Haag HS, from about €7.50 for 24 hours, three days maximum.

Rotterdam

Free coach parking at Blaak, the Boompjeskade, the Mariniershof, the Museumpark, the Parkhaven and the Willemsplein. No advance booking needed.

Lockers at Rotterdam Centraal in three sizes, from about €7.50 for 24 hours.

Leiden

Three drop-off points, 15 minutes maximum: the Nieuwe Beestenmarkt, the 2e Binnenvestgracht and Stationsplein 107. Longer waits park on the Lammenschansweg by Lammenschans station, just off the A4.

Gouda

Set down at Klein Amerika beside the centre, then park at the Groenheuvel car park on the Heuvellaan, about 3 km out. During the cheese market and Gouda by Candlelight, Klein Amerika is drop-off only.
Luggage lockers
No station lockers. Forty free lockable lockers at the Nieuwe Markt instead, big enough for a suitcase.

Good to know before you quote

How we work with the trade

Group size per guide Twenty as standard, twenty-five with advance notice. In Amsterdam the limit is fifteen, which is a legal cap rather than our preference.
Whisper system €7.50 per person, €100 minimum. Never mandatory, but on a large group it can do the work of a second guide.
Outside normal hours A 50% surcharge applies to tours starting before 07:00 or after 21:00.
What the rate includes All days including public holidays, all-in, with no travel costs added unless the guide travels more than an hour each way.
Invoicing Invoiced on the day of the tour, 14 days net. No payment on location. Purchase-order numbers and a specific invoicing address are no problem, just send them with the booking.
Languages English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

Entrance per person, on top of the guide rate. The supplements are per person where marked, and otherwise a flat charge per guide. Group tickets have to be booked in advance, so tell us the attraction when you book rather than on the day.
